What Should I Eat When I Have Parotitis

iTunes has lost write permission?

Na da staunte ich yesterday, not bad, but my iTunes did not start from nothing more simple. The error

"The folder iTunes is on a protected drive, or you do not have write permissions for this folder"

showed up, inexplicably, the iTunes 64-bit Windows 7 on my 64 bit installation. Looking into the depths of the Internet I found no explanation or spontaneous help. So I am even got into the file system to find out what went wrong there.

Calling iTunes resolved with explicit Administartionsrechte Although the startup problem, but put back the library and the Mini Control Panel in the Start bar also was broken.

But well now to resolve the problem:
  • computer restart
  • F8 key at start and "safe mode" select
  • the folder c: \\ Users \\ user- \\ Music call
  • properties of the folder "iTunes" Select Edit
  • a security permissions
  • now add your username
  • Make sure that all rights are highlighted and click OK
After restarting iTunes should now function normally.
